Hiring Fede San Sebastian/ Guias de Tena guiding services, means that you have read, understood and agreed the following terms and conditions:

BOOKINGS

30% of the total price is to be paid if you want to book an activity.

CANCELATIONS

If you want to cancel a trip you should let us know in advance.

The following CHARGES will be applied depending on the advance that we recieve your requirement according to the trip’s starting date:

  • More than 8 weeks: Deposit
  • Between 8 and 4 weeks: 50 % of the total price
  • Less than 4 weeks: 100 % of the total price

PAYMENT

You will recieve a confirmation e-mail with the bank’s information.

MEDICAL STATEMENTS

You must inform in advance about any health issues that could affect your trip.

INSURANCE

You must purchase a special mountaneering/ skiing insurance for the trip’s dates.

Depending on the country that the trip takes place, a basic rescue insurance might be included in the trip’s price.

RISKS

By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you acknowledge that all activities offered by Fede San Sebastian and Guias de Tena, have inherents risks (avalanches, rock falls, bad weather, frost bites…) that will be minimized by the guide’s decisions, but will not be controlled 100%.

This risks may cause injury or death.

To manage the risks, the guide will make decisions so you have the safest trip as possible according to:

  • Physical and psychological issues
  • Health issues
  • Mountain conditions
  • Weather forecasts
  • Other

COURSE CHANGES

While risk management, the guide could change the course, but always trying to get as close as possible to the initial trip or mountain objective.

If the trip is cancelled because of safety reasons, you will be given the oportunity to change dates with no extra cost. If no dates are suitable, you will be full refinded.

Changes in the initial course will informed as soon as possible.

GUIDE’S AUTHORITY

The guide will make decisions to ensure the group’s safety and enjoyment. These decisions may affect the group or individuals.

Hiring the guide’s services, means that you accept the guide’s authorityand the decisionsthat are made affecting to the group or individuals.

The guide might require an individual to leave the group if:

  • His/her healthis at risk
  • His/her behaviorcompromise group’s safety or enjoyment
  • Any ilegalactis commited or about to commit
  • Any aggression to the environmentis made
  • Any serious ethical/cultural violationis made according to the region

RESPONSIBILITY

Neither, Fede San Sebastian, Guias de Tena or the trip’s guides will be responsible for any ilness, injury, deathor personal loss.

Fede San Sebastian, Guias de Tena or the trip’s guides cannot be made liable for the consecuences of major causessuch as strikes, industrial action, wars, riots, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, or other untoward occurrences, whatever they may be.

Despite all the efforts made to ensure website’s veracity, Fede San Sebastian/ Guias de Tena cannot be held mfor any inaccuracies.

Only Fede San Sebastian is entitled to agree refundsfor whatever reasons and not by any guide working for Fede San Sebastian or Guias de Tena.

When making your booking IT IS IMPLIED AND ACCEPTED THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREEDall these TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
